    Description

Grand Piano Yamaha C6 Gloss Black polymer finish  7' 2" 1 owner 15yrs Excellent condition. Condition is "Used". This model is an Acoustic Piano only. It is one size down from the Concert Grand. This is the preferred model for large churches, smaller recital halls and for teaching in music schools. It is ideal for most home settings. I have used it in a small space with low ceilings and carpet. It sounded balanced. It really shines in slightly larger rooms with higher ceilings because the bass can really sing out. This particular piano has always had a beautiful tone with extra depth in the base and clear upper octaves I am a professional musician. So, it has been very well cared for,  played regularly and tuned at least every 6 months. Some of the special features of the Conservatory Grand are 1). Advanced scale design 2). Solid Spruce sound board and ribs. 3).Incredible key response with balanced action. 4). Premium Yamaha Hammers with T-fasteners and specially designed hammer shanks.6). Hardwood reinforced key frame which has pins with adjustable guides 7). A full sostenuto pedal 8).Vertically laminated treble bridge with boxwood caps.9). Solid copper wound bass strings 10). Soft close locking fall board and many other special features reserved for the best Grand Pianos. Although used, the instrument is in almost new condition. The mechanics were just checked when it had it's 6 month tuning. Our tuner-technician said the pins are tight. She always comments on how well it holds the pitch and tuning in general.
I'm selling because arthritis in my hands prevents me from continuing to play and perform.  So it awaits a new artist or family in a home filled with music.

    Damage Disclosure
: There is an area to the right of the key board which has an area of finish that was scuffed by a mover in an elevator. There is an even smaller area on the other side. I have been told by qualified technicians that it can be easily repaired with minor expense. I haven't repaired it because it isn't noticeable enough to bother. The music rack area shows signs of normal wear. } Don't hesitate to come play it. Cincinnati is a city of musicians with a famous Music Conservatory, and Northern Kentucky University has a large music department near by, numerous colleges, music schools and a World class Orchestra. It will not last long! It has been in a private home, not a public venue, school or church .which is an asset to any buyer.
