If required, we can professionally add WiFi or Bluetooth to the piano. This allows the mixing of a wireless source of music with the piano sound. In addition, for a wireless communication with MIDI music apps on an iOS device, Mac computer or PC we can add a Bluetooth MIDI adapter.

MIDI: fully compatible with digital audio workstations, it sends/receives note and velocity data, program change and control change data. A MIDI channel can be separately assigned for 1st Voice, 2nd Voice and Bass. On MIDI IN channel 1, the piano responds to program changes 1 to 8 associated to grand, bright or electric piano, harpsichord, nylon guitar, strings, choir and pipe. A 19-piece percussion set is accessible on MIDI IN channel 10

We bought the piano new, imported from Italy, and have maintained it well ever since. It is in an air-conditioned, virus-free environment and has very few superficial marks, barely noticeable. It was played only now and then and was integrated into a digital audio recording system. It works well both independently and coupled with Ableton, FL Studio or other music production software.
The add-on MIDI to USB interface allows the connection to a Digital Audio Workstation and enables the direct playback of MIDI files. Downloads from sites like musescore.com, free-score.com, and others allow you to read scores while listening to the sound produced by this instrument. Direct input into a preferred music notation editor is also possible while playing.
The Viscount Concerto 500 is a rare sight in this hi-gloss mahogany version. This elegant petite grand piano marries Italian aesthetics and wood craft with contemporary, original high-quality sampled sounds. It has a thick 4cm rim made of undulating layers of different hardwood, a lifting lid, brass plated pedals and hardware, a roll top key cover and thick metal legs for a heavy "baby" (220lbs). Also features the 88 Grand-Response™ Keys which provide realistic touch and accurate dynamic response. Its powerful (103dBA/2ft), vibrant sounds are brought to life by a 4-speaker, custom-designed resonant enclosure with two reflex ports. The specific sound diffusing design makes possible the reproduction of that three dimensional perception typically experienced with string baby grands.

As well  as  the  quality  of  the  stereo  samplings, the instrument also contains a number of special features to give the most faithful reproduction possible of all the shades of the original instrument's sound, such as reproduction of the vibration of the frame, the noise  emitted  by  the  hammer  mechanism, and  all  the  other  typical  components  of  the piano "ambience".  All these features are reproduced inside the piano thanks to the use of  complex  mathematical  algorithms, analyzing the physical situation of the performance  in  progress  at  every  moment and applying the components listed above accordingly." Judging by the quality of the sound, its two basses benefit from the same advanced synthesis. A feature of the sound board not caught in the manual is the quality 19-piece percussion set accessible on MIDI IN channel 10.

All parts beneath the main body are removable for transportation: legs, foot pedals frame and associated hardware. The music sheet holder and the lifting lid can also be unscrewed if necessary. Assembled and with the lid down, piano dimensions are 55"(length)x37"(depth)x37"(height). Lifting the lid adds 24" to its right-side height. Weighs 220lbs.
