Vintage Texaco Sign Road Map Display Rack. Metal "Texaco Touring Service". This is original and not a reproduction. This map display rack is in excellent condition. There are a couple very minor wear points on the green paint on the bottom of rack and back of rack. The sign and lettering are in very good condition. Dimensions are 11x9.25x4.75 inches. The collection of Texaco items being listed are from a family service station that spanned 3 generations. It was in business as Texaco from early 1941 until 1985. In 1985, the station converted to Shell Oil. The owner continued to operate the station until his retirement in 2014. This station was inducted into the Illinois Route 66 Hall of Fame in 2012.
