Brand new in the original box. 1998 1st in a series of holiday Texaco gas pumps made by the Ertl Collectibles Company in Dyersvilole, Iowa. Made of a poly resin with excellent details. Measures 4" high by 2 3/4" wide at the base. Can be hung from a tree or displayed on a desk or table. Hand numbered with pen on the bottom of base. Sky Cheif Supreme Gasoline super charged with Petrox. The most popular and recognizable gasoline pump in its time was the Texaco pump. Founded in 1902 in Port Arther, Texas. Texaco become the first marketer to establish a brand image . The Texaco Star is as much a part of our lives as a Sunday drive in the country. This great American company ran a series of advertisements in the 1950's for their "Fire Chief" gasoline.. The ads featured the Texaco Dalmatian Pups and Fire Hat.
