Description

This is a superb pair of staffordshire black & white seated spaniel dogs with the wonderful overall portrayals of which:
during our research: we have been informed they certainly date from the mid 19th century:
date about c1860s.
A pair of
Staffordshire black & white seated spaniel dogs with:
each having the
wonderful facial decoration and overall portrayals.
black & white colouring with:
the gilt collars, lockets & chains.

Each has an overall height of about 10.5inches.

verall size underneath of about 7 x 5.25i
nches.
Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is:
excellent and both are not subject to any major blemishes except:
one has a very hairline to the rear with the other having a small area of substrate to the rear of which with care is quite simple to remove.
due to age: both are subject to overall fine crazing with areas of rubbing.
