Recently Restored - Plays wonderfully!
This piano underwent significant restoration work in 2008 to enhance its musical performance, as well as a ful body restoration.
The soundboard is original. Being that it is from 1913, it surely has developed some splits as is normal for its age. It doesn't create any issues, doesn't affect the tone at all. There aren't any odd vibrations or buzzes. This tone of this piano has been described as warm, excellent, full, what you would expect from a Steinway.
