Schimmel 5'10" ebony grand piano

Description

This hand built Schimmel is a distinctive piano.   Schimmel is known for being one of the finest piano builders in the world.
This piano was purchased in 1986 and is a model 174, 5" 10" long.
At that time, Schimmel was only making 2 or 3 grand piano sizes.  Because Schimmel only made one line of pianos, they  represented some of the best in the world.
I am the only owner of this piano.  It does have some scratches that can be buffed out on the top.  It has been tuned on a regular basis since purchase.
There is an appraisal in one of the photographs.  It says that the piano is in excellent condition and the tone is very good.  The pins have substantial tightness.  The trap levers are fully intact; no wear on the bushings.  The Renner action is considered to be the finest piano action in the world.  Normal wear on hammers, knuckles, and backchecks.  No cracks in the soundboard.  Bridges are solid.  HArdware are like new.  FInish is original; minor wear marks.
