    Description

This little 2 1/4 by 1 1/2 by 3/4 inch box - see last photo with penny for scale - still contains  part of a Nail Polish Cake by Cutex.
It's a soft clear polish that was applied but rubbing on a hand or buffer, and "passing briskly over the nails". The attractive graphic of a woman in a long red and black dress seated at an elegant dressing table was part of a advertising campaign for  the Norman Warren Corporation in 1916. The company made Cutex Cuticle Remover and other manicure products. According to the side of the box,  this trial size cost 10 cents, and regular size, 25. The box is in very good condition with no damaged corers and only several small areas with tan spots.
