Welcome to this listing.  We are extremely pleased to offer this fabulous 3-piece white ironstone soup tureen in a Victorian Ornate body style by the English firm of J. & G. Meakin.  The three pieces are 9 1/2" tall to the top of the finial.  The bowl and lid are 8 3/4" tall to the top of the finial.  The bowl is 5 3/8" tall and 10 1/2" x 7 3/4" at the rim.  The underplate is 14 7/8" x 11".  The circa 1900 black Royal Arms mark on the underside of both the underplate and bowl states "Ironstone China, J. & G. Meakin, Hanley, England."
This gorgeous three-piece soup tureen has a gleaming glaze and very clear embossment.  It is free of chips, cracks, flakes,  hairlines, discoloration, and restoration.  Crazing, which is common to ironstone, is present on the underplate only. Terms of Sale
Return Policy:
Buyer must contact seller within 30 days from receipt date of the item.
Buyer must ship the item back to the seller within 30 days from receipt date of the item.
Item condition must be identical to the auction description.
Buyer must ship via the same shipper under the same shipping service as received and in the same packaging as received.
Refund will only be given through PayPal and will be in the amount of the winning bid.
Damage or Loss of An Insured Item:
In the event an item is damaged or lost during shipping, the buyer must immediately notify the seller.  The buyer will retain the damaged item and all packaging.
The seller will refund the buyer the amount paid for the item.
The seller will file a claim with USPS for the amount the buyer paid for the item and will designate the seller as the payee of the claim.
USPS will review the claim, request the parcel from the buyer if required, and provide a refund to the seller.
