Magnificent, High End German Piano, IBACH 6' Grand Piano, Rebuilt & Refinished approximately 16 years ago. This is a Rudolf IBACH Sohn Grand Piano made in Barmen, Germany. Masterfully restored approximately 16 years ago included brand new Renner action parts, new pins, strings, dampers, restored soundboard, new pinblock. The stunningly beautiful Mahogany and ebony carved case has a white enamel plate marked "Supplied by Harrods Ltd. London, No. 59369"mounted on the inside of the case rim, the inlaid brass lettering above keyboard says "Hof-Lieferant Sr. Maj. [shield] des Kaisers u. Konigs / Barmen. / Germany" (translation: "Court suppliers of the Emperor and the King"), the music stand has an RIS lyre mark. The Soundboard with signature of master technician Marco DeLellis is dated 2006 noting when the soundboard was rebuilt. Rudolph Ibach Sohn Piano Makers were awarded both imperial and royal warrants during the early days of the Austria-Hungarian Empire and continued manufacturing well into the 21st Century, closing their doors in 2007. Since the rebuild this piano received little if any playing time. Original excellent condition keys. Piano has sublime rich tonal quality and highly responsive action touch. Warranty.
