Description -
Historical Liverpool jug decorated with a scene on either side of the body depicting equestrian riders and dogs. The front decorated with writing that reads “Boston Commercial Coffee House.” Included is a copy of a lithograph that depicts the building during the time period and an original payment receipt to one of the later successors.
Age -
Circa 1820
Size -
Approximately 9 + ½ inches high, 11 + 5/8 inches from the back of the handle to the tip of the spout, 5 + ½ inches across the mouth, and 5 + 5/8 inches across the foot rim
Condition -
Age appropriate, we find some light paint wear, some early restoration on the spout / neck, and the bottom of the handle, see photos for compete assessment.
