    Description

    1892 Chickering Model 109C grand piano. New strings, pins and pin block c. 1975. Plate was re-gilded and pedals replaced with nickel.  In regular, careful use since then. Action original; felts have been plucked once or twice. Refinished; could use some touch-up. Beautiful robust tone, powerful bass. It's been our family piano for 50 years, but we need to downsize. This is a wonderful instrument.
