Refinished with Concept black paint, fine sanded, buffed and polished to a high gloss with matching bench.
Professionally rebuilt in 2019 with new Mapes piano strings, nickel plated tuning pins in original pinblock, shimmed and restored original soundboard, reconditioned bridges. Refinished damper heads with all new damper felts
Complete new action with Renner action parts, Renner blue point hammers, Renner hammer shanks and flanges. Renner grand repetitions. New back checks. New key tops. New key bushings and under key felts.
The history of Bosendorfer dates back to 1828 in Vienna and are still handcrafted in Vienna today. “To give the artist and music lovers of the world an instrument that fulfills their highest expectations,” is the motto of the house of Bosendorfer.
One of the features that makes the Bosendorfer stand apart from other pianos is its rich tone. Unlike any other piano in the world, Bosendorfer constructs its inner rim from solid spruce blocks and uses soundboard spruce it the outer rim. This type of construction makes the entire case an extension of the soundboard and gives the Bosendorfer its outstanding tonal quality.
