ANTIQUE VICTORIAN HEUBACH HAPPY BOY W KITTY CAT PERSIAN? DOLL BISQUE FIGURINE GERMANY 12"
We are selling an antique Victorian toddler baby boy doll figurine holding a cute
white and black Persian (?) cat. Love the open mouth on the kitty!
We have a matching figurine of a girl with a puppy dog, please see our other listings.
Made in Germany of bisque porcelain, hand painted. Nice and big! Almost 12"!
Nice hand modeled teeth in his mouth. Very happy baby doll! Beautiful face! Perhaps could be considered a piano baby.
Features delicate flowers on the gown. Very well made and painted. Tiny hand
applied little gold balls along the gown at the bodice. Top quality!
Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or breaks. I found a few of the tiny gold balls
missing on the collar and sleeves of the gown. Not very noticeable. Also, what looks like a flake on the bottom rim. However, on close inspection, it was painted over and was done in the factory when originally made.
Not signed but we know from how well this was made, that it is most probably  made by
Heubach. If you look at the bottom, it has two spaces where the figurine has plaster
or another material dots. This is done to
stabile the figurine in the kiln. Another sign of good quality,
Measures approx. 12" H x 5.5" W.  Sorry for no returns but, due to how fragile this is, it is not a good idea.
