    Antique Staffordshire Child's Plate, "FRANKLIN'S PROVERBS", c. 1840. This Antique Child's plate has a black transfer scene that is hand colored cows in a field pulling a wagon full of hay. This plate has an embossed floral and wheat border on the rim. This plate is unmarked, but dates from the middle of the 19th century. It has a Frankiln's Proverb around the rim that reads, "MAKE HAY WHILE THE SUN SHINES - FRANKLIN'S PROVERBS." This Franklin Proverbs transfer plate is offered here with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: This Franklin's Proverb plate is 11/16" H. x 5 7/16" Dia.. CONDITION: The condition is very good with some wear to the hand painted black transfer in the center.
