    Description

    Antique Square Grand Piano.
In original, unrestored condition** However, it was restrung with modern tuning pins over 50 years ago. It sat in a storage locker from 1960 to 2020 and was revived. I (the owner) can no longer house it in its location, and need to get it moved! Made of almost extinct Brazilian Rosewood, and original keys. This piano is documented and certified as an antique from the year 1877, it’s manufacturing number is 13225 printed in the soundboard—confirmed by The Antique Piano Shop. It was in the same family, purchased by its last owners great great grandmother in 1886. This piano has been worked on before, a couple new shanks, some previous action reconstruction (just a few keys), and has one key that doesn’t function—the top B, key is present, needs a new shank-easy fix. Key felts are IN ORIGINAL CONDITION!!! This means that they are the same from 1877–however, the tone and quality of the notes are still present and the bass tones are significant. This is a very rare piano. Appraised at ,000 over 20 years ago, and is worth even more considering it is 145 years old and can still hold tune quite well. It rests around A430-435 (historically accurate pitch) and has and WILL NOT be tuned to standard pitch. If restored value jumps from ,000 to ,000+. You will be playing out of 1877!
Keys : B6, and D6 have a bridge issue that can be resolved with a bridge pin fix. This results in the keys not working properly.

This piano is EXTREMELY RARE, and was preserved.
Lyre on the bottom needs repair, but both pedals are functional.
