    Description

    19thc Staffordshire figure of a milkmaid with cow.  Dating c.1870's.
    Figure of milkmaid and cow in white with gilt decoration.   The milkmaid wears a white dress which is decorated with gilt decor, a purple boots.  She has dotted nostrils and red lips.  The cow has pink nose.  Naturalistic base with stream running through.
    Measures some 8.5" height.
    Condition: The milkmaid has lost her arms and the handle of her milking pail.  Her waist has a repair all way around.  The cow has lost a horn and tip of other horn, and a back leg.
