The transformer drops it down from 240v AC to 48v DC.Package includes(1x) rotating siren head, (1x) stainless steel transformer cabinet, (1x)Stainless steel control cabinet with push button controls, battery maintainers, siren activation radio and battery warmers. This siren was ,000 when it was new. You can get a quote from ASC to confirm. You will save a lot of money with this siren. This siren is great for a municipality on a budget that needs a fire rescue, weather, nuclear or any other early warning device.
