    Scottish Terriers
. Morgan Dennis was a well known animal artist who specialized in dog portraits, and he was commissioned by Texaco to produce a mascot for their company. Titled, "
    Listen
", it refers to the Texaco tagline "Drain, Fill and Listen! To the improvement in your engine", It shows two Scotties, with ears cocked, and refers to hearing the improvement in the sound of the running engine after Texaco's premium oil has been used in the crank case. The Texaco Company copyrighted "Listen" in 1932, and the image was used in its paper advertising as well as for iron doorstops, lamp bases, etc.
This framed print measures approximately 15” x 18” and in excellent condition. Professionally framed and matted and ready to hang.
