A beautiful example of American craftsmanship, this 1904 Steinway Model B grand piano features "ice cream cone" legs in African mahogany with an extremely detailed grain pattern.
This stunning vintage Steinway piano has just been restored to perfection and includes a Paul Jansen artist bench to match. The Victorian-style cabinet has been stripped and refinished, the cast iron plate refinished and detailed and all nickel hardware has been replated. Please note the fresh nickel Steinway fallboard logo.
The restoration features all NY Steinway action parts (hammers, wippens, shanks, flanges), new soundboard and ribs, new bridge, new 5 ply pinblock, damper heads refinished, new damper felts, and a new soundboard decal. The work on this Model B grand piano was thorough, complete and top notch.
A new, black Steinway B in a plain, traditional cabinet lists for over K. Add an exotic wood and you will pay around 5K....but the cabinet will still be "Plain Jane." You can own this fancy, exotic mahogany Steinway B for less than a black Steinway in a spade leg cabinet.
