1899 Steinway Grand Piano B Walnut Fully Restored
This piano has been recently inspected and the soundboard cleaned by a Registered Piano Technician (9-24-21)
The technician said that there was no point in tuning it before it was moved because it was so close to "concert pitch" already.
I had no idea what it was worth and the technician was very impressed with it when she assessed its value.
It was manufactured in 1899 (serial # 93939)
The legs have been replaced with a more modern leg but I have no idea when. Unfortunately I don’t have the full history, so what I’m stating here is what I was told by the Technician which was referred to me by Steinway Dallas.
It has a really pretty inlaid double stripe detail, on the top and all around the front and the Steinway & Sons name above the keys is also inlaid, not the traditional gold sticker.
The pedal assembly is in great working condition
It's been restrung and the action has been rebuilt, original soundboard, that has 2 normal wear and tear cracks.
It comes with a matching duet size bench that is in great condition, very sturdy.
The plate has been repainted
